چکیده

Version 6c, 28 July 2006 SpectreRF provides powerful and unique new analyses that offer designers of switchedcapacitor filters the ability to predict the performance of their circuits in ways that were not previously possible. It allows designers to quickly and directly predict the transfer and noise characteristics of filters described at the transistor level while including all of the important second-order effects. Previously, designers had to choose between using a traditional circuit simulator such as SPICE and a discrete-time simulator such as Switcap. SPICE simulates from a transistor-level description and so includes all of the desired second-order effects, but is not capable of directly computing the transfer and noise characteristics of circuit. While it may be possible to use Spice to indirectly predict such things, doing so is difficult, slow, and error prone. Switcap does directly compute the transfer and noise characteristics of switched-capacitor filters, but works from a highlevel behavioral description. It cannot accept a transistor-level description and cannot include many of the second-order effects that critically important to designers.

Switched Capacitor Filter

A Switched Capacitor circuit is an electronic circuit element used for discrete time signal processing. It works by moving charges into and out of capacitors when switches are opened and closed. Usually, nonoverlapping signals are used to control the switches, so that not all switches are closed simultaneously. Filters implemented with these elements are termed switched capacitor filters. Unlik...

Switched-capacitor Filters Using Fdnr-like Super Capacitances Se So

Ahtroct-Switched-capacitor networks have become very attractive for the MOS/LSI realization of analog sampled-data filters. The work presented in this paper shows that the I/p transformation where p = (1 -z -‘)/T can be performed for such filters similarly to.Bruton’s l/s transformation for analog continuous networks. An analog sampled-data filter based on this principle has been designed and i...

Design of Parasitic - Insensitive Bilinear - Transformed Admittance - Scaled ( BITAS ) SC Ladder Filters

Absrract-A new method for the design of parasitic-insensitive switched-capacitor (SC) ladder filters is described. The filters are derived from analog LC prototypes utilizing the bilinear r-transform. The method is based on the signal-flowgraph (SFG) concept in the discrete-time domain. The resulting networks preserve the frequency response and low sensitivity properties of the equivalent conti...
